Grants

The Sustainable Advanced Manufacturing (SAM) Project is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund and in order for us to provide your business the support required, we are required to ask for specific information about your business; including basic financial information and details of previous grant funding. In addition, the European Regional Development Fund stipulates eligibility criteria around who can access support from the project. By completing the registration we can determine your businesses eligibility to the project. All information provided will be kept for internal audits and monitoring only. Details you provide in this EOI will be scored against a list of specific criteria* which will enable the panel to select the successful projects to be awarded the grant.

*Criteria categories:

  • Collaborative and high outputs
  • High impact not collaborative
  • Collaborative low impact / outputs
  • Low impact not collaborative

The Project Selection Panel will review submitted EOI every quarter and applicants will be contacted within 30 days. Please ensure that you plan this into your own timescales.

An EOI can also be submitted by filling in the EOI Word document and emailed to sam.project@sunderland.ac.uk or posted to SAM Project, The Industry Centre, Colima Avenue, Sunderland Enterprise Park West, Hylton Riverside, Sunderland SR5 3XB.
